I went to MSU for Media and Information graduating spring 2022. So far, I’ve written award-winning short films, including one that was for a 48-hour film festival.
Writing sparked my interest in filmmaking, starting with a love for creating characters. In 2018, during my freshman year, I took it seriously and wrote my first full-length script, Control. I learned script formatting online, and after 8 months, I completed it. My approach was that of a “planter,” beginning with the idea of a kid gaining telekinetic powers from a tiny meteor and building the story from there.
I didn’t outline Control; I let the main character guide the story by asking what he would do next. While it still needs revisions and the format could be better, the process ignited my passion for storytelling.
In the summer of 2019, after my freshman year at Michigan State, I wrote Incurable, a grounded feature about a single dad diagnosed with a progressive disease who must find a new guardian for his daughter. I wrote the script in about a month and a half while battling strep throat. Self-teaching filmmaking techniques, I filmed the entire project in about a month with a $500 budget.
After Incurable, I wrote three short films in 2019-2020—Beautiful Hell, Ripple, and Harvester—all intended for film festivals. Ripple went on to win a couple of awards.
2021 comes around and I start up a production company…
TurtlePod
For TurtlePod, I wrote most of the videos, with a few co-written or green-lit by me. My goal was to create short, entertaining pieces under 10 minutes. Over time, I shifted to writing with more purpose, aiming to create content that could say something meaningful and potentially help others.
This shift in focus led me to create longer pieces, starting with Hate Crime. It begins lighthearted and surface-level but develops into something more meaningful while still retaining its charm.
Hate Crime: 105 Pages (9 10-minute episodes) 2022
My first episodic show follows a group of unlikely friends who hate crime: a cowboy-loving bounty hunter, an ambitious journalist, a timid rookie actor, and a pothead with not aspirations. I aimed to highlight a serious issue while crafting something both funny and inspiring. With several subthemes, I wanted to create a show that could go on forever, always fun and exciting, while shedding light on the elites and their inhumane activities.

Smokers, Gamers, Cowboy enthusiasts, adult-swim enjoyers
I wanted to create a show that at first glance seems geared toward stoners, but as it unfolds, it becomes more introspective, focusing on men’s mental health and the impact of drugs. The aim is to advocate for safe, moderate use of substances while challenging stigmas around men using drugs for mental health.
I envision Hate Crime being picked up by a larger production company, where I could oversee its production as a Writer/Showrunner.

In March 2024, I began working on my sci-fi epic, currently titled Siphon.

Currently I’m using TikTok and covering my progress creating the world from start to finish.
I’m working on my most ambitious project yet, spanning over 4 billion years of lore with 4 books covering 6,000 years. It features aliens from Mars and Venus, an original “power system,” and potential for numerous spin-offs. There are also plans for video games, merchandise, and branding. The story is inspired by world religions, real history, and the cosmos, and my goal is to use it to inspire a love for science, promote community, and offer perspectives on how we can experience the world.
