SOME VIDEOS I’VE EDITED

Edited on Davinci Resolve.

A fun video I edited independently, experimenting with green screen elements and drawing inspiration from anime like Death Note and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

While the theme may be immature, I put effort into creating a well-paced and entertaining sequence of sabotages.

This video was a great chance to experiment with green screen, masking tools, and compositing animations.

Since my computer couldn’t handle Unreal Engine, I used Halo Infinite on my Xbox to create a 3D environment for Bowser’s Castle.

I filmed the green screen footage, then recorded the required angles in theater mode to use as the background in the edit.

My focus is to create fast-paced, upbeat content that keeps things moving. I aim to avoid lingering too long on any shot or motion, efficiently showcasing the steps of creation while still telling the story clearly. It’s a mix of quickness and informativeness.

I’m proud of constructing the timeline, but what I really want to highlight is the sound design. I did foley for various actions like footsteps, cups clinking, and doors slamming. If something didn’t sound right or wasn’t diegetic, I replaced it.

I also orchestrated the music and subtle cues, prioritizing staying true to the source material and creating something for the fans. I believe it’s crucial to honor existing characters and be well-informed about the material, ensuring fans would be proud of the result.

The painting on the wall was crucial for telling the story, inspired by The Conjuring 2. It symbolized the progression of souls being taken. I created those paintings in Photoshop.

This project showcases my ability to compile a high-quality indie short film. I supervised ADR, constructed the timeline, matched focus points between cuts, and timed dialogue to maintain the flow, prioritizing key reactions.

I also selected the soundtrack, collaborating with a composer and filling the rest with royalty-free music to keep the energy consistent throughout.

Music Videos

I’ve made a number of music videos with my first one being about 5 years ago.

This is my most recent one which tells the story of a blue-collar worker who never gets a break.

I’ve always had fun editing music videos to the beat/rhythm of a song.

Incorporating different types of effects and replicating the energy that the song brings.

I always find myself learning new effects and methods every time I make one.
